Sala Photography Policy

No-Photography Policy for Day Guests at Sala Beach House and Spa:

At Sala Beach House, we uphold the values of privacy, tranquility, and relaxation for all our guests. We kindly request your cooperation in preserving the peaceful and exclusive environment of our retreat by adhering to the following no-photography policy:

Privacy and Tranquility: Sala Beach House is a private property and a sanctuary where our guests come to disconnect, find solitude, and cherish their personal space. To respect the sanctity of this experience, we have a strict no-photography policy within our premises.
Respect for Guest Privacy: We place the utmost importance on safeguarding the privacy of all our guests. Please be considerate of others and refrain from taking photographs, including selfies, while in any shared areas of our property.
Prior Permission in Public Spaces: If you wish to capture moments in our hotel’s public spaces, we kindly ask that you first discuss your request with our management. We will do our best to accommodate your needs while ensuring the comfort of all guests.
Illegal Use for Commercial or Public Purposes: Using photographs and videos taken at Sala Beach House for commercial or public purposes is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, social media content, promotional activities, or any other form of public dissemination.
Legal Consequences: Individuals found in violation of this policy by using photographs or videos taken on the property for commercial or public purposes will be subject to prosecution in accordance with applicable laws.

Customer Privacy policy
Sala Beach House shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be accessed on: https://www.justice.gov.za/legislation/acts/2000-002.pdf
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Sala Beach House bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Sala Beach House via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Sala Beach House separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Sala Beach House takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Sala Beach House chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature (75 Ocean Drive, Thompson’s Bay, Shaka’s Rock, KwaZulu Natal) .
Variation
Sala Beach House may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
